Kanally doesn't ask for an account, doesn't know who you are and doesn't collect your viewing habits. This page explains exactly what is stored and where.

You don't create an account

You don't need to sign up to use Kanally. We don't ask for, and don't store, your name, email, phone number or any similar identifying information.

Your IPTV playlist details stay on your device

Your provider address, username and password are kept only on your device. The password is stored in iOS's secure storage (Keychain). This information is never sent to our servers; we don't have any such server in the first place.

The app fetches the channel list and program guide directly from the address you entered. We don't sit in the middle of these requests and we don't keep a copy.

What we collect

Subscription information — RevenueCat

We manage Kanally Pro purchases through RevenueCat. What goes to RevenueCat: an anonymous user ID generated per device, the purchase receipt and the status of your subscription. This ID is not linked to your name, your email or your Apple Account. It's needed to know which device your subscription is valid on.

Rewarded ads — Google AdMob

On the free tier, when your daily car screen time is running low, an optional ad offer appears. You don't have to watch this ad; if you do, you earn 15 minutes of extra time.

When an ad is shown, Google AdMob processes device identifiers and ad-related usage data. The first time you open the app, iOS shows its tracking permission prompt; you can decline, in which case ads are not personalized but the reward system works exactly the same. If you're in Europe, Google's consent form is also shown.

A Kanally Pro subscription removes ads entirely. For Pro users, the ad SDK is never initialized.

Nothing else

We don't use any analytics tools, crash reporters, social media trackers or similar components. Which channels you watch, and for how long, never reaches us.

Favorites, profiles and settings

Your favorite channels, the profiles you create, your audio delay settings and your other preferences are stored on your device. If you delete the app, they are deleted too.

Children

Kanally is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. We don't collect personal data in any case.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything on your device (playlists, passwords, favorites). If you'd like the anonymous subscription record at RevenueCat deleted, write to us and we'll forward your request.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date on this page will be updated. If there's a significant change, we'll let you know inside the app.
